Use the Space
Merrimac & Main is a place for everyone, including you. We welcome all community members using this space to connect, create, learn, grow, heal, and inspire. The rooms below are available for rental. If you're interested, please send an email to merrimacmain@gmail.com including the dates/times, a short description of the event, and what kind of space you're looking for!
JANUARY 1, 2025: ROOM AVAILABLE FOR RENT
A local artist is currently using a meeting room on the upper floor as her studio. She's moving states at the end of the year, so this space will open up. It is a spacious room with wood floors and three stained glass windows. You will have access to an elevator, kitchen, and other rooms in the building when not in use. $600/month standard rate or $400/month for nonprofits, artists, or others who align with our mission. Co-working space is available at Merrimac & Main. Bring your laptop and use our internet! You can heat up your lunch in the kitchen and drop in for morning yoga. Some people enjoy getting their work done in the beautiful sanctuary, and others prefer quiet meeting rooms with stained glass windows. $50/month for drop-in access, or $10/day.
Hosting a particularly large gathering? The Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall both have capacity for more than 100 people. Rent out the entire ground floor, which includes the large Fellowship Hall, expansive Kitchen, Recreation room, and bathrooms for $500/day. The entire main floor, including the Sanctuary, Overflow Room, Nursery, and Meeting Room is $600. The entire building for an entire day is $1,000.
For now, events that are offered free and open-to-the-public (& in alignment with M&M goals) will be no cost, as long as you are able to do basic clean-up afterwards. We will ask for a deposit, which will be returned to you minus any costs for cleaning or repairs needed. Private events and paid events will be charged the rates below, with exceptions made for those who have volunteered extensively for Merrimac & Main!
